Requirements:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license
- BLS certification
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician direction
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately
- Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds; monitor for infection/complications
- Monitor and document vital signs continuously and as required
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on conditions and self-care instructions
- Respond promptly in medical emergencies and follow infection control protocols
