Requirements

• Active LPN license in the practicing state
• BLS certification

Core Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician direction, following facility protocols
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Assess, cleanse, dress, and manage wounds; monitor for infection and complications
• Monitor, record, and report vital signs and changes in patient condition
• Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation and communicate with the care team
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care
• Respond promptly to emergencies and follow infection-control and safety procedures
