Schedule:

• Onsite clinical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Day shift extends to 8:00 AM – 8:00 AM (physician onsite 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
• Weeknight beeper call: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Weekend beeper call: 24-hour
• Call response time: 20–30 minutes
  Reason for Coverage: Supplemental
  Travel, lodging, and malpractice: Covered

Patient & Volume:

• Adults only
• Average daily caseload: 6–10 patients (ICU 1–2, consults 4–5)

Facility & Resources:

• Hospital beds: 138; ICU beds: 15
• Cath lab: Yes (2 suites)
• Onsite services: lab, treadmill, echo, EKG
• Trauma level III
• EMR: Epic
• Team: 3 interventional physicians in practice; support staff includes RNs (1), MAs (5), PA/NPs (2), office staff (5–6)

Required Qualifications:

• Board certified in Cardiology (BC required)
• Oregon medical license
• DEA registration
• BLS and ACLS

Procedures / Skills:

• Non-invasive: echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology
• Experience with Epic documentation

Privileges & Compliance:

• Hospital privileges: not required; temporary privileges not available

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage per schedule
• Perform rounds, procedures, and consults during onsite hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
• Cover beeper call on weeknights and 24-hour weekend beeper call
• Manage daily patient panel (6–10 patients) with available support staff
• Document care in Epic and maintain standard clinical care practices
