Travel RN Operating Room (Outpatient) Chico, CA (Contract)

Join an outpatient surgical team in Chico, CA, as a Registered Nurse on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This is a day-shift position (40 hours) with a pay rate of $2,960 per 40-hour week.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll provide perioperative nursing care in an outpatient OR setting—prepping rooms, equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures and serving as the circulating and/or scrub nurse based on your competency. You’ll keep sterile technique at the forefront, prioritize patient safety throughout each case, coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the perioperative team, and document care thoroughly to meet regulatory standards.

What we’re looking for

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Operating Room or perioperative nursing experience preferred
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Solid understanding of aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and OR protocols
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient environment
