Requirements:

• Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse state license
• BLS certification

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision, following care plans and standing orders
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately
• Manage wound care: evaluate, clean, dress, and monitor wounds for signs of infection or complications
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient condition promptly and accurately
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and communicate care information to the care team
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care instructions
• Respond quickly and appropriately to medical emergencies and follow infection control protocols
