Seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist to provide short-term locum coverage at a Level I hospital in York, PA. This clinical role includes outpatient clinic duties, operative cases, and 24-hour beeper call. Temporary hospital privileges are available for candidates with clean files; full credentialing is ~90 days.
Coverage
- Primary: Jul 13–17, 2026 (may extend to Jul 20)
- Additional: Sep 21 (7:00) – Sep 27 (7:00), 2026
- Call: 24-hour beeper coverage during assigned periods
Clinical Scope & Volume
- Adult patient population with occasional pediatric emergencies (e.g., torsion)
- Office volume: ~24–28 patients/day
- Practice setting uses Epic EMR
- Facility equipped with cystoscopes, towers, and supplies for injections
Operative Expectations & Procedures
- Common procedures: vasectomy, cystoscopy (including OR cases), prostate procedures, ureteroscopy (OR), lithotripsy, orchiopexy
- Vasectomy reversal optional/not required
Team & Support
- Support staff: 1 RN, 4 MAs, 1 office staff
- Supervision of new APPs (NPs/PAs) as part of the assignment
Requirements
- Active PA medical license or Universal License (IMLC) letter of qualification in hand
- DEA registration required
- Minimum one year of clinical urology experience
