Night Shift Respiratory Therapist (Contract) — Norfolk, VA (JulOct 2026)

We’re looking for a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join a Norfolk, VA facility on a 14-week contract (non-travel) starting July 1, 2026. This is a night shift role, scheduled 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, with local pay at $1,652 for 35 hours.

What you’ll bring:

• A valid, active Respiratory Therapy state license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

• Assess patients’ respiratory status—monitor lung function, oxygenation, and work of breathing.
• Develop and carry out individualized respiratory care plans to improve breathing and overall lung function.
• Operate and titrate mechanical ventilators and make bedside adjustments for patients who need ventilatory support.
• Respond quickly and effectively to respiratory emergencies following established protocols.
• Keep clear, accurate documentation of assessments and treatments and follow infection control procedures at all times.
