Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — Contract Position, Silver City, NM

We’re looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a contract (non-travel) assignment in Silver City, NM. This is a 19-week role starting June 12, 2026, with a weekend-focused schedule (Sunday, Friday, Saturday). Local pay is $1,037 per 36-hour week.

What you’ll need

• Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse state license.
• Current BLS certification.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of RNs or physicians, taking a hands-on role in patient treatment.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds, watching for signs of infection or other complications.
• Monitor and document vital signs consistently, keeping charts accurate and up to date.
• Maintain clear, detailed patient records and communicate care plans; educate patients and families about conditions and self-care when appropriate.
• Respond quickly and professionally in medical emergencies and follow established infection control protocols.
