Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) — York, PA (Night Weekend Coverage, SepDec 2026)

Locum tenens opportunity in York, PA at a 593-bed Level I trauma hospital (Epic). Coverage: clinical only from Sep 21, 2026 – Dec 21, 2026. Schedule: Fri–Sun, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (2–3 weekends/month).

Clinical scope

• Provide anesthesia for all ages across a varied case mix: trauma, neuro & spine, cardiac, thoracic, vascular/APS, OB/GYN, general surgery, GI, pediatrics, plastics, orthopedics, and robotics.
• Deliver GETA, MAC, spinal, regional, ultrasound-guided techniques, and NORA cases.
• Perform epidurals independently.
• Practice in a medically directed model collaborating with anesthesiologists (typical ratios 1:3 or 1:4).

Requirements & credentials

• Active PA nursing license and board-certified CRNA.
• ACLS and PALS required.
• Minimum two years’ experience preferred.
• DEA not required.

Facility & privileges

• Epic EMR in use.
• Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available with leadership approval for clean files.
• Typical credentialing timeline is 90 days (expedited with leadership approval).

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered anesthesia care across the hospital’s subspecialties.
• Coordinate care with the anesthesia team and perioperative staff in a fast-paced Level I trauma environment.
• Maintain required certifications and comply with hospital credentialing and privileging processes.
