Job Description
Great opportunity for a Hospitalist to join a large multispecialty group in Southern MA near Cape Cod and Providence, RI.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Practice/Internal Med or Hospitalist
- 7 on 7off schedule
- 12 hour rounding day shift 7a-7p and an admitting "swing" shift 1p-10p - no overnight shifts
- Community-type hospital with no trauma - Cardio team handles STEMIs
- Admit patients from ED to floors and also to a Med-Surg ICU during shifts - must be able to evaluate and begin management of sick patients
- Average census 5-6 over the 12 hour shift
- Answer floor calls, rapid responses and codes, must be able to intubate, place A-lines, and central lines
- Competitive rate and malpractice
- EMR used is Epic
