Adelphi seeks a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver school-based speech and language services in Prineville, Oregon. The SLP will collaborate with school administrators and staff to assess, plan, and provide evidence-based services that support student communication needs and comply with professional and district standards.

Minimum requirements
- MA or MS in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligible for an Oregon Teaching License with Speech Impaired endorsement or for licensure by the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
- Experience providing itinerant services in public schools
Preferred qualifications
- Current CPR training
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience and interest in working with children, including those with special needs
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, able to follow through with minimal supervision
- Well-developed organizational skills
Key responsibilities
- Conduct screenings, diagnostic evaluations, and participate on multidisciplinary assessment teams
- Manage referrals and assigned caseloads in accordance with district policies and timelines
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs; document progress toward goals and update plans as needed
- Provide direct and indirect speech, language, and hearing services aligned with IEPs and student needs
- Plan individualized instruction that accounts for cultural, behavioral, motivational, and ability differences while maintaining high expectations
- Communicate and collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and community partners regarding student progress, services, and supports
- Maintain required documentation, records, and confidentiality; ensure legal and policy compliance
- Foster a positive, safe, and respectful learning environment that preserves student dignity and supports learning
- Contribute professionally through punctuality, appropriate conduct, collaboration, supervision of assistants/volunteers, in-service presentations, curriculum adherence, and ongoing professional development
- Perform other duties as assigned
