We're looking for a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join a contract, local role in Waterville, ME. This is a 13-week, non-travel assignment starting August 10, 2026, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Compensation for local clinicians is $1,239 per 35-hour week.
What you’ll need
- A valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant state license.
What you’ll be doing
- Work alongside the Physical Therapist to help evaluate patients and carry out prescribed interventions and exercise programs.
- Administer modalities and operate therapeutic equipment to support rehabilitation.
- Teach and coach patients on exercise routines and explain home programs to patients and their families to support recovery.
- Keep accurate, timely patient records and communicate effectively with the PT and the broader healthcare team.
- Follow safety guidelines and infection control procedures at all times.
