Patient Population & Volume

• Adults (18+)
• Clinic: ~14–16 patients/day
• Inpatient: ~5 consults/day; 2–6 angiograms/day
• Admissions handled by hospitalists
• Rounding: physician rounds own patients until sign-off

• STEMI coverage
• Diagnostic angiograms
• Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
• Left and right heart catheterization
• IVUS / FFR / iFR
• Echo and stress test interpretation

Facility & Support

• EMR: Meditech with PatientKeeper interface
• Support staff: 1 MA, 1 NP, fully staffed office
• Specialty backup: Cardiology, Anesthesia, Hospitalist

Privileges & Credentialing

• Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available
• Credentialing timeline: 30–120 days

Required Credentials & Qualifications

• BC or BE in Interventional Cardiology
• Active OR medical license
• Active DEA registration
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Completion of interventional cardiology fellowship
• Clean malpractice history
• Self-query NPDB report dated within 30 days required at presentation

Responsibilities

• Provide full interventional cardiology coverage including 24-hour and STEMI call
• Perform PCI, diagnostic catheterization, left/right heart caths
• Interpret echocardiograms and stress tests
• Manage clinic visits and inpatient consults; round on own patients until sign-off
