Required qualifications:
- Active RN license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience (Emergency/Trauma preferred)
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Role summary:
Provide emergency and trauma nursing care on night shift in a fast-paced ED. Responsibilities include patient assessment, triage, medication administration, collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team, documentation, and adherence to facility policies and safety protocols.
Key expectations:
- Manage multiple acute patients and prioritize care effectively
- Perform interventions and treatments per ED protocols and scope of practice
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation
