The 474-bed facility, founded in 1965, offers a full range of comprehensive services, some of which include: designated STEMI receiving center in Santa Clara County, cardiovascular services using state-ofthe-art technology, and innovative robotics program for orthopedics, spine, general surgery, bariatrics, gynecology, and urology. Good Samaritan Hospital was one of the first community hospitals certified in the US as a Primary Stroke Center in 2005 and the first of its kind to be certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center in 2013. Good Samaritan also has an established Endovascular program designed to treat acute ischemic/hemorrhagic strokes and neurosurgical emergencies. With 21 beds dedicated to the Neurosciences ICU, we have full back up from neurocritical care ICU physicians and neurosurgeons.
