Travel PCU (Progressive Care) Registered Nurse — Aspen, CO (13-week Contract)

Join a collaborative team in Aspen, CO, as a contract Progressive Care/Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment beginning July 13, 2026. You will deliver primary nursing care within a rural critical access hospital’s Patient Care Unit, working alongside an interdisciplinary team to manage medically complex patients.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start
• Basic Life Support (BLS) — may be obtained upon hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Minimum 2–3+ years of RN experience, with demonstrated competency in progressive care/stepdown nursing

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care as the primary nurse
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions for progressive care patients
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain competency required for a rural critical access hospital setting and adhere to facility policies and standards
