Overview:
Join a clinical team providing hands-on nursing care in Orono. This contract LPN role supports RNs and physicians in delivering safe, compassionate care across a full-shift schedule.

Requirements:

• Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse state license
• Current BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under RN/physician supervision
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and administer medications/treatments per orders
• Perform wound care: evaluate, clean, dress, and monitor for infection or complications
• Monitor and record vital signs consistently and accurately
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and contribute to care plans
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care
• Respond promptly to emergencies and follow infection-control policies
