Contract opportunity in Rutland, VT (non-travel) starting July 27, 2026 — 15 weeks. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Local rate: $2,209 per 35-hour week.
Requirements:
- Current, active Physical Therapy state license.
- CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (includes AED).
Position overview:
Provide high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy services in an outpatient/clinical setting. Perform thorough evaluations, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions aimed at restoring function, reducing pain, and improving mobility.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and establish measurable treatment goals.
- Develop and implement customized exercise programs to enhance strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
- Utilize manual therapy and hands-on techniques to improve mobility and relieve pain.
- Apply therapeutic modalities and advise on appropriate assistive devices and adaptive strategies.
- Educate patients and families on condition management, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.
- Accurately document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with facility policies.
