Join a busy emergency department in Arcata, CA as a contract Registered Nurse for a 13-week day-shift assignment starting June 23, 2026. You’ll work a 40-hour week and be paid $3,416 per 40 hours while providing high-quality care in a fast-paced ER/trauma setting.

What you’ll do:

• Provide emergency and trauma nursing care to patients of all ages.
• Triage, assess, and stabilize patients; collaborate with physicians and the care team.
• Use your experience to make rapid clinical decisions, manage critical situations, and mentor less experienced staff as needed.
• Maintain clear documentation and follow department protocols.

Who we’re looking for:

• Minimum five years of ER nursing experience, plus at least two years in a management or leadership role.
• Active California RN license and current BLS certification.
• TB clearance completed within the past 12 months.
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
