We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist to join a Rutland, VT team on a 13-week contract (non-travel) beginning July 6, 2026. This is a Monday–Friday role.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assess patients’ physical and cognitive strengths and limitations, and evaluate their home or care environments to identify barriers to daily functioning.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and use a variety of therapeutic approaches to help patients regain or enhance independence in everyday activities.
- Recommend and train patients and caregivers on adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
- Teach patients and families practical strategies to manage conditions and promote safe, independent living.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team.
Must-haves:
- Active, valid Occupational Therapy license for the state.
- Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).
