Locum Tenens Invasive Cardiologist — Alpena, MI (Board Certified/Eligible)

Join a supportive, team-oriented practice in Alpena, Michigan, as a locum tenens invasive cardiology physician. This role blends clinic work, inpatient rounding, procedures, and call coverage—offering a varied, well-balanced day and the chance to practice in a collaborative environment on the shores of Lake Huron. Compensation is $2,800 per day.

What you’ll be doing:

• Monday–Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts, plus 1:2 call
• See new and established patients in clinic
• Perform inpatient rounding and coordinate care
• Interpret cardiac imaging and testing
• Perform procedures based on your experience, such as TEE, cardioversions, loop recorder implant/explant; diagnostic cardiac caths are optional (preferred but not required)
• Use EPIC for charting with Dragon dictation

Requirements:

• Active Michigan medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Diagnostic catheter skills preferred but not required
