Join a Muscle Shoals, AL facility on a 7-week contract (non-travel) beginning July 1, 2026. This Licensed Practical Nurse position works a 12.5-hour shift (6:00 AM–6:30 PM) with a local rate of $785 per 36-hour period.

Required qualifications

• Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse state license
• BLS certification

Core responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician direction, following established care plans
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and administer prescribed medications and treatments safely
• Manage wound care: assess, clean, dress, and monitor for infection or complications
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient condition continuously
• Maintain accurate patient records and provide patient/family education on conditions and self-care
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow infection control and safety policies

This role emphasizes strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with the care team, patients, and families.
