Requirements
- Valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Occupational Therapist with patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations.
- Implement prescribed interventions and therapeutic activities to improve motor skills, mobility, and activities of daily living.
- Instruct patients in the safe and effective use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
- Document accurately and timely: treatments, patient progress, and changes in condition.
- Follow safety and infection-control procedures to maintain a safe therapy environment.
