Join a collaborative surgical team in Globe, Arizona for a full-time locum tenens CRNA assignment offering a diverse case mix and a reliable weekday schedule.

Assignment details

• Duration: Coverage needed July–August (full-time)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Minimum shifts: 10–20 per month
• Operating rooms: 2 main ORs

Call and weekend expectations

• Weekend coverage on a 4-week rotation
• Required call responsibilities:
  • Two weeks with no call
  • Third week designated as float with call duties
  • Off-site beeper call; hourly callback compensation if called in

Case mix

• Majority: Orthopedic surgery
• Also: General surgery, OB/GYN, gastroenterology
• Occasional: Cardiac catheterization lab cases
• No cardiac open-heart or neurosurgery cases

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across the perioperative continuum
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and create individualized anesthesia plans
• Administer and monitor anesthesia intraoperatively
• Conduct post-anesthesia evaluations and manage pain as appropriate
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and the perioperative team to optimize patient outcomes
