Nocturnist Hospitalist Physician — Martinsburg, WV

Clinical responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive overnight care for adult inpatients
• Admit patients from the Emergency Department and manage inpatient admissions
• Perform history and physical examinations and develop appropriate plans of care
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions encountered overnight
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and urgent clinical needs
• Coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and daytime hospitalists to ensure seamless transitions
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active West Virginia medical license
