Job Description
We’re looking for a seasoned clinician to provide hands-on clinical leadership across our primary care practices in Northampton and Amherst, MA. In this role you’ll spend roughly 70% of your time seeing patients and 30% on administrative leadership—mentoring providers, optimizing care delivery, and helping shape the future of our practice.
What you’ll do
- Lead efforts to maintain and raise clinical standards, quality, and patient safety.
- Mentor, evaluate, and support primary care providers to promote professional growth and consistent care.
- Oversee regulatory compliance and partner on risk management.
- Streamline workflows, staffing models, and care delivery to improve efficiency and access.
- Drive population health and value-based care initiatives in collaboration with clinical and administrative teams.
- Use EHR data and other analytics to identify opportunities, improve outcomes, and measure progress.
- Enhance patient experience and manage service recovery when issues arise.
Time commitment
- Active clinical practice: ~70%
- Administrative/leadership responsibilities: ~30%

- Salary range: $250,000–$300,000 plus bonuses

Who we’re looking for
- MD or DO with an active Massachusetts license or willingness to obtain one
- Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- 2–5 years of outpatient primary care experience
- Demonstrated clinical leadership and strong communication skills
- Prior experience as a Medical Director or Lead Physician preferred
- Background in population health, payer programs, or practice transformation
- Training or experience in leadership, quality improvement, or informatics is a plus
