Job Description
Join a collaborative primary care organization serving Northampton and Amherst, MA, as a clinically active leader who balances patient care with administrative oversight. This role combines direct patient care (approximately 70%) with protected leadership time (approximately 30%) to ensure high-quality, safe, and patient-centered services across multiple practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership for quality, safety, and evidence-based care standards
- Mentor, evaluate, and support primary care providers; lead performance and professional development efforts
- Oversee regulatory compliance and risk management processes
- Optimize clinical workflows, staffing models, and care delivery systems
- Advance population health and value-based care programs
- Use EHRs and data analytics to drive clinical improvement and operational efficiency
- Enhance patient experience and manage service recovery
Compensation & benefits:
- Salary range $250,000–$300,000, commensurate with experience

Qualifications:
- MD or DO with an active Massachusetts license or willingness to obtain one
- Board certified/eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- 2–5 years of outpatient primary care experience
- Demonstrated clinical leadership and strong communication skills
- Prior experience as a Medical Director or lead physician preferred
- Experience with population health, payer programs, or practice transformation
- Training or experience in leadership, quality improvement, or informatics preferred
