Remote Locum PMHNP (Pediatrics/Adolescents) — $120/hr, Flexible Hours, Fully Remote 1099

Join a mission-driven, fully remote team delivering evidence-based psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and young adults. We’re looking for a compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who values flexibility, autonomy, and making a real difference for young patients and their families. This is a 1099 locum tenens opportunity for clinicians comfortable practicing independently while working within a supportive virtual team.

What the role looks like

• Fully remote telehealth work focused on pediatric and adolescent psychiatry (patients ages 2+).
• Minimum commitment: 10 hours per week.
• Must be available during peak demand: weekday evenings after 3:00 PM ET and/or flexible weekend availability.
• Independent clinical practice with collaborative support and administrative assistance to reduce non-clinical tasks.

Core responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and ongoing follow-ups via telehealth.
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions in children, adolescents, and young adults.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications and create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and families as appropriate.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Coordinate care with clinical and administrative colleagues to ensure continuity.

What we’re looking for

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Board Certified PMHNP (PMHNP-BC).
• Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania PMHNP/CRNP/APN license.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
• At least 2 years of psychiatric practice independently under licensure, with demonstrated experience treating pediatric populations.
• Comfort and proficiency with telehealth platforms, EHRs, and other digital tools.
• Reliable computer, phone, and high-speed internet.
