Locums-to-Perm Geriatric/Family/Internal Medicine Physician — Bronx & Brooklyn, NY (Weekdays)

Join a warm, well-established outpatient practice serving primarily older adults in the Bronx and Brooklyn. We’re looking for a compassionate, collaborative physician who enjoys building strong relationships and delivering value-based, patient-centered care. This is a full-time locum-to-perm opportunity (transition expected within 3–6 months) with a predictable weekday schedule and no inpatient responsibilities.

Position highlights:

• Locations: Bronx and Brooklyn, NY
• Compensation: $150 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Setting: Outpatient only (no inpatient work)
• Care model: Value-based care
• Patient population: Primarily geriatric, expanding to include Internal Medicine patients aged 18+
• Typical caseload: Manageable census of about 7–10 patients per day
• Spanish language skills preferred
• Temp-to-perm expected within 3–6 months
• Expedited credentialing available

What we’re looking for:

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics
• Active New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Medicare and Medicaid Provider IDs (required)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A genuine commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
