Job Description
Full-time opportunity in Littleton, NH for an experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Must have orthopedic clinical experience and proficiency with trigger point injections.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and review medical histories to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions (fractures, sprains, arthritis, etc.)
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies (X-ray, MRI, labs)
- Develop and implement treatment plans including medications, injections, physical therapy, bracing, and referral for surgery when indicated
- Provide perioperative management and assist with orthopedic procedures (arthroscopy, fracture care, joint replacement workflows)
- Prescribe and monitor rehabilitation programs and home exercise plans
- Educate patients on injury prevention and musculoskeletal health
- Coordinate care with surgeons, physical/occupational therapists, and other providers
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with patients and families
Qualifications
- Current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license
- Active New Hampshire state license and DEA registration
- Demonstrated orthopedic experience, including trigger point injections
- Strong clinical assessment, procedural, and communication skills
Compensation & benefits
- Salary range: $110,000–$130,000

- Employed by a 25-bed Critical Access hospital serving the region with multiple specialty services
- Littleton, NH — small White Mountains town with year-round outdoor recreation, convenient access via I-93, no state income tax; commutable to Boston and Montreal.
