Remote Locums Tele-Neurology Physician — Full Remote, Flexible Schedule

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible neurologists needed for a fully remote locum tele-neurology role supporting hospitals and EDs across multiple states. Ongoing need with flexible scheduling—suitable for supplemental work or long-term telemedicine practice. Physicians provide real-time neurologic consultation for acute and inpatient cases, including stroke alerts, via a secure enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support.

Compensation and Logistics

• $210–$220 per hour
• 100% remote, work-from-home
• Locum engagement; long-term assignments available
• Flexible full-time and part-time schedules; day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
• Malpractice coverage provided
• Credentialing and licensing support; additional state licenses paid as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote neurologic consultation to ED and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke cases and recommend thrombolytic or endovascular interventions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians on treatment plans
• Document encounters in the EMR

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
• Stroke experience preferred; vascular neurology a plus
• Active U.S. medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred (licensing support available)
• Licenses in hand preferred for FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely
