Remote Locums Tele-Neurologist — Stroke/Acute Neurology (Flexible Shifts, Multi-State)

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible neurologists needed for a fully remote locum tenens tele-neurology role supporting hospitals and emergency departments across multiple states, with primary assignment supporting Buffalo, NY facilities. Flexible scheduling with ongoing need—suitable for supplemental work or a long-term telemedicine practice. Physicians provide real-time neurologic consultation for acute and inpatient cases, including stroke alerts, via a secure enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support.

Compensation and terms

• Compensation: $210,000–$220,000 (annual)
• 100% remote (work from home)
• Locum engagement; long-term assignments available
• Flexible full-time and part-time schedules; day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available
• Malpractice coverage provided
• Credentialing and licensing support; additional state licenses paid as needed

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote neurologic consultation to emergency department and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke cases and advise on thrombolytic and endovascular treatment decisions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians on diagnostic and treatment plans
• Document encounters in the electronic medical record

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
• Stroke/acute vascular neurology experience preferred
• Active U.S. medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred (licensing support available)
• Preferred licenses in hand: FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely and using telemedicine platforms
