Locum Tele-Neurologist (Remote) — Acute Stroke & Inpatient Consults, Flexible Scheduling

Board-certified or board-eligible neurologists are needed for a fully remote locum tele-neurology role supporting hospitals and emergency departments across multiple states. This flexible opportunity suits physicians seeking supplemental shifts or a long-term telemedicine practice. You will deliver real-time neurological consults for acute and inpatient cases, including stroke alerts, using a secure enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support.

Position highlights:

• Fully remote telemedicine locum with long-term assignments available
• Flexible full- and part-time scheduling; day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
• Competitive compensation (range: $210,000–$220,000)

Key responsibilities:

• Provide remote neurological consultations for emergency department and inpatient teams
• Assess acute stroke presentations and advise on thrombolytic and endovascular treatment decisions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time and collaborate with on-site clinicians on treatment plans
• Complete timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
• Stroke experience preferred; vascular neurology training a plus
• Active U.S. medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely
• Licensure assistance available; candidates with licenses in hand (especially FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA) are preferred
