Neurosurgeon (FT/PT) — $4,500/Day, Two-Weeks-On/Two-Weeks-Off Schedule, Carbondale IL

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preoperative, operative, and postoperative care for patients with neurological conditions
• Perform a broad range of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures with precision and clinical excellence
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (neurocritical care, radiology, anesthesia, rehab, etc.) to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain current knowledge of neurosurgical best practices and apply evidence-based care
• Participate in education/training of medical students and residents as needed

Schedule

• Two weeks on / two weeks off rotation
• Flexible employment model: full-time, part-time, or per-diem coverage

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Neurosurgery residency
• Board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery
• Active Illinois medical license or ability to obtain one
• Demonstrated proficiency across a wide range of neurosurgical procedures
