Locum Neurosurgeon — Carbondale, IL (PRN, $4,500/Shift)

Locums neurosurgeon needed for a growing program in Carbondale, IL. Full-time-consistent, PRN (as-needed) schedule.

Compensation

• $4,500 per shift

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient surgical and clinical care for neurological patients
• Perform a broad range of neurosurgical procedures with precision and adherence to best practices
• Manage perioperative care and post-operative follow-up
• Participate in assigned call coverage
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain current knowledge of neurosurgical advances and apply evidence-based care
• Assist with education and training of medical students and residents as needed

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited neurosurgery residency
• Board certified in neurosurgery
• Active Illinois medical license or ability to obtain one
• Demonstrated surgical competence across a variety of neurosurgical procedures
