Join a busy emergency department in Rockford, IL as a contract Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift assignment starting June 29, 2026. The position is 36 hours/week with a pay rate of $2,052/36 hours.

What you’ll bring

• Active Illinois RN license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (education verification required)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• Either TNCC or TNS certification

What you’ll do

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, partnering with physicians and the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments following approved practices, policies, and state regulations.
• Document care and patient progress according to standards.
• Create and carry out individualized patient care plans, including patient and family education.
• Apply clinical judgment to support patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the proper chain of command.
• Offer clinical expertise to other units as needed to support continuity of care.
• Participate in unit performance improvement, shared governance, and peer review activities as part of professional practice development.
