Licensure & Certifications:

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and home/environmental factors to identify functional limitations and set measurable goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using appropriate therapeutic techniques to improve activities of daily living (ADLs) and independence.
• Recommend, train in, and provide guidance on adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Educate patients and families on condition management, safety, and strategies to maximize independence.
• Monitor, document, and report patient progress; adjust plans as needed and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
