We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to step into the First Assistant role for a 16-week contract in Chico, CA. This is a day-shift travel assignment starting July 1, 2026, with a weekly rate of $4,012 (based on a 40-hour week).

As the RN First Assistant, you’ll work closely with the surgeon in both the Operating Room and the Labor & Delivery suite, providing direct perioperative patient care and hands-on assistance during procedures. - CNOR certification

- Serve as the surgeon’s first assistant during surgical procedures, providing direct, intraoperative support
- Apply expanded perioperative nursing knowledge and skills gained through formal instruction and supervised practice
- Practice under the surgeon’s supervision to optimize patient outcomes in the OR and Labor & Delivery suite
