Job Summary:

We are seeking a Chief Hospitalist to lead our team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

 

Qualified Candidates:

  • 3+ years hospitalist practice experience
  • Progressive leadership experience
  • Comfortable with a mix of clinical hospitalist shifts and leadership duties
  • Experience as Hospitalist Chief or Associate Chief a plus
  • Experience teaching/working with internal medicine residents a plus
  • Must have excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Board certified in internal medicine

Hospitalist Program Information:

  • 12 hour physician shifts
  • 18-20 patient visits/day for each hospitalist
  • Dedicated nocturnists
  • Closed ICU
  • No procedures required

  • 24/7 full-service ER with 2 freestanding ERs
  • 24/7 dedicated inpatient intensivist program
  • Internal medicine, family medicine, and psychiatry GME residency programs with Tufts University affiliation
