Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) — Nights, ICU/Cardiac Focus — Rockford, IL (13-Week Contract)

We are seeking an experienced RN to join a Float Pool in Rockford, IL on a 13-week contract (nights), starting July 8, 2026. This role primarily supports ICU needs with flexibility to float to Medical-Surgical units as required. Compensation: $2,206.80 per 36-hour week.

Required qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license
• CPR, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (education verification required)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Strong ICU background with extensive cardiac experience
• Willingness to float to Medical-Surgical when needed

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments per approved techniques, facility policies, standards of care, and state practice laws
• Develop, implement, and document individualized patient care plans, including patient and family education
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with standards of care
• Apply clinical expertise to support continuity of care across units and escalate safety or quality concerns through appropriate channels
• Participate in unit performance improvement activities and shared governance initiatives

Shift: Nights. Contract/Travel assignment.
