Join a compassionate hospice and palliative care team in Grand Junction, CO. This 6-week contract (starting July 27, 2026) offers day shifts (Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) with occasional weekend backup and on-call duties.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with current Colorado RN license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Role overview:
Provide patient- and family-centered hospice/palliative nursing across care settings (private homes, nursing homes, group homes, assisted living). Support patients in identifying personal goals of care, coach and empower caregivers, and deliver expert symptom management. Serve as a clinical generalist across disease processes while demonstrating advanced assessment, critical thinking, and leadership.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage an assigned caseload and coordinate the interdisciplinary team’s care
• Assess symptoms, develop and implement individualized care plans, and adjust interventions for comfort and quality of life
• Educate and support patients and families to promote confidence in caregiving
• Deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive care in varied home and facility environments
• Maintain reliable weekday coverage with occasional weekend/on-call support
