Required credentials:

• Active, valid Occupational Therapy state license
• CPR and BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross (AED included)

Core responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and environmental strengths/limitations to establish functional goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using appropriate therapeutic techniques to improve activities of daily living
• Recommend, fit, and instruct on adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Provide patient and family education on condition management and strategies to maximize independence
• Monitor, document, and report patient progress; coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team
