LPN — School-Based Nursing for Medically Fragile Students (Savannah, GA) — $35/hr, MonFri

Adelphi is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a school-based team in Savannah, Georgia. In this role you’ll work closely with school administration and the District’s Lead Nurse to care for medically fragile students, follow established school procedures, and practice to current nursing standards.

What you’ll do:

• Monitor students’ health and wellness in the classroom and during school bus transport.
• Provide treatments such as nebulization, tracheostomy care, oxygen therapy with humidified air/compressor, wound care, and medication administration as directed.
• Respond to sudden illness or injury and support school health room coverage when needed.
• Assist with student health screenings, immunization record reviews, and communicable disease control procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete daily time/service logs according to board policy.
• Communicate professionally with school staff, parents/guardians, and healthcare providers.
• Follow directions from the District’s Lead Nurse and school representatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shift, pay, and setting:

• Location: Savannah, Georgia (school-based)
• Job type: Contract
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift
• Rate: $35/hr

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted LPN license in Georgia.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with medically fragile students preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and assisting students as needed.
