Contract Occupational Therapist (OT) — Hayward, CA (6-Week, $65.20/hr)

We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a team in Hayward, CA for a short-term contract. This is a non-travel role starting July 13, 2026, for 6 weeks, with a regular schedule of 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation is $65.20/hour.

What you’ll bring

• A valid, active Occupational Therapy state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).

What you’ll do

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities, plus home and community environments, to identify functional limitations and set meaningful goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques to improve daily living skills and independence.
• Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Teach patients and family members strategies to manage conditions and maximize independence.
• Track and document progress, adjusting plans as needed, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team.
