Contract Family Medicine Physician — Onsite Primary Care for Mississippi State Veterans Nursing Home

Adelphi seeks a dedicated Physician to deliver on-site primary medical care at the State Veterans Nursing Home in Kosciusko, Mississippi. In this contract role (Nov 1, 2026–Oct 31, 2028, with one possible one‑year renewal), you will perform medical assessments and physical exams, develop and manage treatment plans and medications, review and update care plans, support resident discharges, provide clinical oversight, and ensure timely, compliant documentation to maintain continuity of care. Services are required 24/7: 40 on-site hours weekly (excluding weekends) with remaining hours covered on call. Daily visits Monday–Friday begin no earlier than 7:00 a.m.; advanced practice clinicians provide Monday–Friday coverage of eight hours per day. Qualifications: MD or DO from an accredited school, current unrestricted Mississippi medical license, board certification, DEA registration with controlled substance prescribing authority, and 3–5+ years clinical experience—preferably in long‑term care, geriatrics, or skilled nursing. Strong supervisory and interdisciplinary collaboration skills are required.
