Hybrid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) — 1099, Sterling VA

Join a growing behavioral health team in Sterling, VA, where you’ll deliver compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and young adults through a mix of in-person and telehealth visits. This hybrid role offers flexibility and meaningful clinical work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.

What you’ll do

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and participate in clinical consultation and peer review
• Use telehealth and onsite visits to meet patient needs while maintaining excellent documentation in the EHR

Schedule

• Minimum commitment: 12 hours per week
• At least 5 hours per week onsite in Sterling
• Flexible scheduling to support work–life balance

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (Pennsylvania)
• PMHNP board certification (PMHNP-BC) through ANCC or AANP
• DEA registration and Virginia State Prescriptive Authority
• Minimum 2 years of independent PMHNP practice
• At least 1 year of experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults
• Comfortable using EHR systems and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
• Reliable computer, phone, and high-speed internet for telehealth
