Hybrid PMHNP (1099) — Pediatric/Adolescent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Frederick MD

Role summary
Provide psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and young adults via a hybrid model (onsite + telehealth). Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage medications within an interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic assessments and psychiatric evaluations
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide ongoing medication management and monitoring
• Coordinate care with therapists, physicians, and support staff
• Participate in weekly clinical consultation and peer collaboration
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR

Schedule

• Minimum 12 hours per week
• At least 5 hours per week onsite
• Flexible scheduling

Compensation and benefits

• Hourly rate: $120–$140 (1099)

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania
• Board certification as PMHNP (ANCC or AANP)
• DEA license and Maryland State prescriptive authority
• Minimum 2 years independent PMHNP experience
• At least 1 year experience with children, adolescents, or young adults
• Proficient with EHR systems and Google Workspace
• Reliable computer, phone, and high-speed internet for telehealth
