What you’ll need

• An active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse state license.
• Current BLS certification.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide hands-on nursing care under the direction of RNs or physicians.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and administer medications and prescribed treatments safely.
• Evaluate and manage wounds, including cleaning, dressing, and monitoring for signs of infection or other complications.
• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs on an ongoing basis.
• Keep accurate, detailed patient records and explain conditions and self-care instructions to patients and their families.
• Act quickly and appropriately in medical emergencies and follow established infection control procedures.
