Requirements
- Active LPN license in the state of practice.
- Current BLS certification.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician direction.
- Conduct patient assessments; administer medications and prescribed treatments.
- Perform wound care: evaluate, clean, dress, and monitor for infection or complications.
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient status continuously.
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records and communicate care plans.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care.
- Respond promptly in medical emergencies and follow infection control protocols.
