Emergency Department details (main site)

• Annual volume: 120,000+ visits
• Pediatric visits: ~20% (covered by dedicated Pediatric EM physicians)
• 45-bed ED: 29 adult, 8 pediatric, 8 fast-track beds
• Affiliated system includes five FSEDs

Coverage model

• Main ED physician coverage: 88 hours/day
• Pediatric ED coverage: 24 hours/day
• APP coverage: 59 hours/day

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Practice specifics

• Physicians do not write admitting orders or respond to floor codes

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain
• DEA registration
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
